GARLIC, GINGER, BITTER KOLA BOOST IMMUNITY

Recent research has revealed that a mixture of garlic, ginger and garcinia kola (bitter kola) can boost immunity in human beings.

The Managing Director of Associated Biotechnology Limited, Mr. Clarkson Nnadi, gave this detailed uses of the above mentioned products.
The pharmacist said that the mixture, was an antibiotic and antiviral agents capable of reinforcing the body’s defensive activity.

According to him, garlic is widely recognised as a culinary herb and a potent natural medicine.

He said, “Research has shown that garlic is a natural anti-microbial and unlike most antibiotics, it does not destroy the body’s normal flora. Garlic has been used for thousands of years to prevent heart disease including arthrosclerosis, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and improve the immune system.”

The pharmacist stated that ginger had various uses, including relieving arthritic pain, menstrual discomfort, headaches, fevers, colds and sore throat.

According to him, bitter kola has been used to treat liver and kidney disorders. It is also used in the treatment of bronchitis and throat infection, it has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-viral properties.
